You look at planets,
Big dense balls of mass,
In awe,
Hoping that someday,
You might become,
As big as them,
Obstructing everything around,
And having others,
Look upon you,
With the same awe,
Meanwhile,
Forgetting the,
Infinite vastness of space,
That has so lovingly,
Contained you,
And allowed you,
To pass through.
Such a shame.
If I were you,
I'd rather be space.
Big dense balls of mass,
In awe,
Hoping that someday,
You might become,
As big as them,
Obstructing everything around,
And having others,
Look upon you,
With the same awe,
Meanwhile,
Forgetting the,
Infinite vastness of space,
That has so lovingly,
Contained you,
And allowed you,
To pass through.
Such a shame.
If I were you,
I'd rather be space.
